I have to announce that Mr. Frederick Maurice Summerfield has been selected by the Taoiseach to fill the vacancy in the membership of Seanad Eireann caused by the disqualification of Mr. Thomas Condon. Mr. Summerfield has, accordingly, been elected to fill the vacancy to which the resolution of the Seanad of the 25th October, 1944, has reference. Senator Summerfield may now take his seat.
