Seanad Éireann debate -
Wednesday, 5 Jun 1946

Vol. 31 No. 22

Business of Seanad.

In connection with the Order Paper to-day, the order will be somewhat changed from what appears on the paper. It has been suggested, for the convenience of the Minister concerned, that Item No. 5 should be taken after Item No. 2. The subject matter of No. 5 is generally taken as formal. It has also been suggested, and I understand the arrangement has been agreed to, that Item No. 4, in the debate on which the Taoiseach will attend the House, should be taken on the resumption after tea at 7 o'clock. I understand that arrangement would be of convenience to the Taoiseach. Items Nos. 6 and 7 will not be taken this week, but it has also been arranged, I may say, in consultation with the Senators interested in No. 6, that it will be taken next Wednesday.
