I move:—
That, pursuant to sub-section 20 of Section 2 of Article 25 of the Constitution, Seanad Éireann concurs with the signature by the President as soon as may be of the Imposition of Duties (Confirmation of Orders) Bill, 1949.
Confirmation of Orders has to be given within eight months. One of the Orders expires on the 5th of March, so it is thought that the House might agree with this motion to enable the President to sign the Bill without delay.
