It is proposed to take items Nos. 1 and 2, the Local Loans Fund (Amendment) Bill, 1950, Second Stage, and the Land Bill, 1949, in Committee. I assume that the Land Bill will take up the entire sitting and that the motions will not be reached to-day.
Order of Business.
I suggest that in order that the Seanad may proceed with the transaction of the business ordered for the day, the Leader of the House, Senator Hayes, should move the Second Reading of the Local Loans Fund (Amendment) Bill.
I appreciate the Senator's suggestion, but I think it would be better to move the Adjournment until 4 o'clock.
