Seanad Éireann debate -
Wednesday, 27 Jun 1951

Vol. 39 No. 14

Business of Seanad.

The next sitting should be to-morrow as the Trade Union Bill, which is going through the Dáil, is expected to get all stages to-day and it is necessary that it should be dealt with here to-morrow because it has to come round before the 8th July.

Then the only business before the House to-morrow will be the Trade Union Bill. It is a machinery Bill, altering dates, is it not?

There is a possibility, but not a certainty, that we may have the Finance Bill.

Hope springs eternal.

The Seanad adjourned at 3.30 p.m. until 3 p.m. on Thursday, 28th June.
