Election of Leas-Chathaoirleach.

Mr. Hawkins

I move:—

That Senator Liam Ó Buachalla be elected Leas-Chathaoirleach.

For the period of the last Seanad, Senator Ó Buachalla occupied the position of Cathaoirleach to the satisfaction of every side of the House. I have great pleasure in proposing that he be elected Leas-Chathaoirleach.
