The following message has been received from the Dáil:—

Dáil Éireann has passed the following resolution in which the concurrence of Seanad Éireann is desired:—

That it is expedient that a Joint Committee consisting of seven members of the Dáil and seven members of the Seanad be set up to assist and advise the Ceann Comhairle and the Cathaoirleach in the direction and control of the Oireachtas Library.

I move:—

That the Seanad concur with the Dáil in their resolution communicated to the Seanad on 28th day of October, 1954, that it is expedient that a Joint Committee consisting of seven members of the Dáil and seven members of the Seanad be set up to assist and advise the Ceann Comhairle and the Cathaoirleach in the direction and control of the Oireachtas Library.
