In accordance with the desire expressed by Senators and agreed to by the Minister, I move:—
That the Statute of Limitations Bill, 1954, be referred to a Special Committee consisting of nine Senators, to be nominated by the Committee of Selection; and that the quorum be three.
It is the Minister's desire that the Committee Stage should not begin for a fortnight or three weeks, so the committee could be appointed when the Seanad meets next. The Seanad will meet this day fortnight, I think, and it will be time enough then to appoint the committee. Alternatively, the committee could be appointed to-night.
