Seanad Éireann debate -

Vol. 47 No. 3

Business of Seanad.

Perhaps it would be right to say that, when this business concludes, the Seanad will adjourn. Motion No. 7 is not being taken to-day and there is nobody available for motion No. 6. So, when this business is concluded, the House will adjourn sine die.

What is the position about motion No. 6?

My idea about motion No. 6, for which I endeavoured to arrange since the last meeting of the Seanad, was that it would be taken to-morrow, but I think circumstances, of which Senator McHugh must be aware as well as I am, have intervened since to make it impossible to take that motion here.

Business suspended at 6 p.m. and resumed at 7 p.m.
