Vol. 50 No. 10

Order of Business.

The business to be taken is Item No. 1, Third Amendment of the Constitution Bill, 1958. I wonder could we get an indication as to the possibility of terminating the debate this evening? I should like to suggest that the Taoiseach be allowed to get in to conclude not later than 5 p.m. if that would be agreeable to the House.

I should be very glad, indeed, to co-operate in that regard, so that if at all possible, the Taoiseach should get in not later than 5 o'clock. I do not know how long the Taoiseach will require but I should agree with his getting in at that hour.

If somebody desires to speak, he will not be closed out for ten minutes?

No. That is generally understood.

That is understood.

Agreed.
