Message from Dáil. - Connaught Rangers (Pensions) Bill, 1962 (Certified Money Bill) — Second and Subsequent Stages.

Question proposed: "That the Bill be now read a Second Time."

This Bill is to provide statutory authority for the 20 per cent. increase in service pensions and disability pensions under the Connaught Rangers (Pensions) Acts, 1936 to 1961, which is being paid since 1st August, 1962 on foot of a Supplementary Estimate for pensions approved by Dáil Éireann on 18th July, 1962.

Question put and agreed to.
Agreed to take remaining Stages today.
Bill put through Committee, reported without recommendation, received for final consideration and ordered to be returned to the Dáil.
