Vol. 56 No. 19

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business as set out on the Order Paper: No. 1 to No.3, inclusive.

Could we have any information about when it is intended to sit this week?

As I announced last week, the programme is as on the Order Paper. It is hoped to deal with the Finance Bill, the Superannuation Bill and get started on the Appropriation Bill today. With a bit of luck, we may be able to deal with the remainder of the Appropriation Bill, the Shannon Free Airport Development Company Limited (Amendment) Bill, and the Social Welfare (Miscellaneous Provisions) Bill tommorrow, to obviate sitting on Friday. It is proposed to meet on Wednesday next to take the Second Stage of the Planning Bill.

In view of the uncertainty about sitting on Friday, I should like to suggest that we sit early tomorrow.

There may be discussions in the early afternoon on that matter.
