Resignation and Appointment of Parliamentary Secretaries.

Fuarthas scéala ó Rúnaí Cúnta an Rialtais á chur in iúl:—

(1) go raibh an Rialtas, ar ainmniú an Taoisigh, tar éis Brian Ó Luineacháin, T.D. a cheapadh, an 8 Deireadh Fómhair, 1964, chun oifig Rúnaí Parlaiminte an Aire Dlí agus Cirt;

(2) gur ghlac an Rialtas, le héifeacht ón 21 Deireadh Fómhair, 1964, leis an tairiscint éirí as oifig mar Rúnaí Parlaiminte an Aire Tailte a rinne Brian Ó Luineacháin, T.D.; agus

(3) go raibh an Rialtas, ar ainmniú an Taoisigh, tar éis Seoirse Ó Colla, T.D., a cheapadh chun oifig Rúnaí Parlaiminte an Aire Tailte le héifeacht ón 21 Deireadh Fómhair, 1964.

Communications have been received from the Assistant Secretary to the Government stating that:—

(1) the Government, on the nomination of the Taoiseach, had appointed, on the 8th October, 1964, Brian Joseph Lenihan, T.D., to the office of Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Justice;

(2) the Government had accepted, with effect from the 21st October, 1964, the resignation of Brian Joseph Lenihan, T.D., from the office of Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Lands; and

(3) the Government, on the nomination of the Taoiseach, had appointed George Colley, T.D., to the office of Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Lands with effect from 21st October, 1964.
