Seanad Éireann debate -
Tuesday, 28 Jul 1970

Vol. 68 No. 15

Business of Seanad.

It is not proposed to take the Finance Bill until 2.30 p.m. tomorrow.

Would Senator Ryan tell us which Bills will be taken in the morning?

The remaining Bills on the Order Paper but I cannot say in what order, they will be taken—the Imposition of Duties (Confirmation of Orders) Bill, 1970, the Tourist Traffic Bill, 1970, and the Vocational Education (Amendment) Bill, 1970. Some of those Bills will be taken but I do not know whether they will all be taken tomorrow.

It would help us to know.

It is a matter of what Ministers are available. The Vocational Education (Amendment) Bill will be taken.

Will it be taken first?

It probably will but I could not say so definitely.

I understand the position. The Senator will understand that the Opposition must be prepared.

I do, yes.

The Seanad adjourned at 10.35 p.m. until 10.30 a.m. on Wednesday, 29th July, 1970.
