Leave granted to introduce a Bill entitled an Act to provide, in the public interest and in the interest of holders of units of unit trust schemes, for the control and regulation of such schemes, to prohibit, in certain circumstances, the advertising of, and the purchase or sale of units of, such schemes, to enable the Minister for Industry and Commerce to require that specified proportions or specified minimum proportion of the assets of certain such schemes shall be property in the State and to provide for other matters connected with the matters aforesaid.
