Order of Business.
I should like to ask the Leader of the House if he has arranged to set aside some days early in the New Year in order to discuss motions. This is a request that has been made on numerous occasions and it will be generally felt to be necessary by both sides of the House.
I should also like to ask the Leader of the House if he would agree to take Motion No. 19 with Motion No. 3.
In reply to Senator West, I propose to arrange a time early in the New Year for the purposes which he has in mind. With regard to Motion No. 19, the Senator will remember I suggested during a recent debate that the question raised in that motion might be discussed during the passage of the Bill on the European Communities and I do not see any point in taking it now.
