Tuesday, 10 May 1977

Vol. 86 No. 11

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take No. 1 only.

A Leas-Chathaoirleach, an urgent matter has just been brought to my attention and unfortunately, as I have just learned about this, I did not have time to go through the formalities of contacting you or your officials this morning. I just learned about it over the luncheon break. It concerns the fact that two members of the staff of St. Patrick's College, Maynooth, have received their dismissal notices this morning and I would like to know if there is any possibility of the Seanad considering this very important and urgent matter on the Order of Business today. I raise this particularly because, as a university representative, I am involved in the situation and I would like to know if there is any possibility of the Seanad discussing such an extremely urgent matter.

An Leas-Chathaoirleach

An Leas-Chathaoirleach

No.

Order of business agreed.
