Vol. 91 No. 12

Business of Seanad.

What is the wish of the House about the remaining business? The only other Bill we have is the Adoption Bill. It is Report Stage and Members can only speak once on the amendment. I understand that there is a wish that we should go ahead and conclude it.

Senator Robinson proposed the amendment, I just seconded it. I do not want to be unfair to her.

Senator Robinson was here and her papers on the Sixth Amendment of the Constitution (Adoption) Bill, 1978 are here. She was waiting until we were ready to go ahead. I wonder would it be possible, if people want to have lunch to resume immediately afterwards.

I informed Senator Robinson we would probably go on if we finished the previous business around this time. I know there are some Members of the House who want to speak on this and who would prefer to go on at this stage.

If I am in a position to move it formally——

Yes, the Senator can.
