I have received a message from the President that, after consultation with the Council of State, he has referred the Housing (Private Rented Dwellings) Bill, 1981, to the Supreme Court under Article 26 of the Constitution for a decision on the question as to whether the said Bill or any provision or provisions thereof is or are repugnant to the Constitution or to any provision thereof.
