Could I ask the Leader of the House what the intention of the Seanad is vis-à-vis item No. 14 on the agenda?

It is out of my hands. The Order of Business was decided today.
The Chair understands the Seanad was to sit until 5 o'clock but that a decision was deferred until the conclusion of item No. 1. The Chair would now like to know what the position is regarding the taking of item No. 14. Is it proposed to take item No. 14 now?
It is a matter for Senator Murphy.
Is there a spokesman for the Government available to listen to the debate?
As far as I know one will be available.
May I suggest, if it is not an irreverent verb, that such a person should be "fetched"?
The Chair is in a difficult situation because the Order of Business was agreed earlier and then there was a discussion on it at 5 o'clock. The Chair now feels it is my duty to proceed with the Order of Business as agreed or to adjourn the House.
