Vol. 100 No. 3

Export Promotion (Amendment) Bill, 1982: Committee and Final Stages.

Question proposed: "That section 1 stand part of the Bill."

I will make one point. The section states:

It shall be the duty of the Board to promote, assist and develop in any manner in which the Board considers necessary or desirable the exportation of goods and the provision of such services as are specified from time to time by order made by the Minister.

Am I correct in thinking that the order relates only to services and not to the goods?

There is no intention of amending the existing provision relating to goods?

Question put and agreed to.
Section 2 agreed to.
Title agreed to.
Bill reported without amendment, received for final consideration and passed.
