It is proposed to adjourn the House and sit again on Wednesday, 21 November at 2.30 p.m.
Could I address a brief inquiry to the Leader of the House? Like many Members in the House this evening I am aware of the announcement of the liquidation of Irish Shipping. As spokesperson on our side of the House for this particular important matter I think it is something that the Seanad should debate as a matter of extreme urgency. It is after all a unique situation when we find ourselves as the laughing stock of every banking board throughout the world where we are refusing to pay our debts.

The Senator may not develop this. He has made his point.
I would just like if the House would comment on a request by me to have a meeting of the Seanad tomorrow morning or at the very earliest moment with that as Item No. 1 on the agenda.
I think I must maintain my proposal that we adjourn until 2.30 on Wednesday, 21 November.
