Vol. 110 No. 9

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Mark Killilea that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Agriculture, through the Government to make proposals to the EC to agree to a change of status for all Connemara, Co. Galway, from disadvantaged area to mountain region.

I regard the matter as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and it will be taken from 8 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. or earlier if the business ordered is concluded.

Before you make that positive order, I will be indicating in the Order of Business that we may be finishing Private Members' Business at 7.30 p.m.

That is provided for. Senators will note that.
