Vol. 114 No. 7

Order of Business.

It is proposed to order Nos. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. Item No. 1 is purely formal, a replacement of a member of the Joint Committee on Women's Rights. Item No. 2 is the Committee Stage of the Dublin Metropolitan Streets Commission (No. 2) Bill. Item No. 3 is the Control of Dogs Bill. It is not known how long Nos. 2 and 3 will take. I suggest that the question of whether we suspend the sitting from 5.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. be considered at 5.30 p.m. in the light of such business as is done. We will then, in any case, be taking from 6.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. Item No. 6 which will be the completion of the Labour Party motion on Arts in Education. I would suggest, in view of the large amount of business we have on the Order Paper, that if the Second Stage of No. 3 is not concluded by 6.30 p.m. we should resume it at 8 p.m. and continue to debate it until the conclusion of Second Stage or until 10 p.m., whichever is the earlier.

Order of Business agreed to.
