I have notice from Senator McAuliffe-Ennis that on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today she proposes to raise the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Agriculture to take urgent action to respond to the fact that Westmeath and Longford report the highest incidence rate in bovine tuberculosis, and to address the reality that the disease has reached epidemic levels in parts of County Longford.
I regard the matter as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and it will be taken from 4 p.m. to 4.30 p.m. or earlier if the business is concluded.
