Seanad Éireann debate -
Friday, 19 Dec 1986

Vol. 115 No. 11

Business of Seanad.

When is it proposed to sit again?

It is proposed to adjourn the Seanad and sit again at 2.30 p.m. on Wednesday, 14 January. On that occasion it is proposed, as of now, that we should take up the Report State of the Status of Children Bill and follow that with the Report Stage of the National Monuments Bill. We will also sit on Thursday that week. On that day we will probably take up the Tobacco (Health Protection) Bill on Second Stage.

I do not want to introduce any note of dissension here. I would just like to ask the Leader of the House when is it proposed to take up the Extradition Bill?

We will resume the Extradition Bill; it may well be that it will be taken on Thursday, 15 January.

Thank you.

The House stands adjourned until Wednesday, 14 January 1986. I wish everybody a happy Christmas and a good New Year.

The Seanad adjourned at 3.35 p.m. until 2.30 p.m. on Wednesday, 14 January 1987.
