Seanad Éireann debate -
Friday, 19 Dec 1986

Vol. 115 No. 11

Business of Seanad.

As foreshadowed on the Order of Business this morning the Seanad has now received from the Dáil the Income Tax (Amendment) Bill, 1986, and it is proposed to proceed now with the discussion of that Bill. Also Senators will appreciate that the Courts (No. 3) Bill which we have already passed and the Income Tax (Amendment) Bill on the discussion of which we are about to enter are both matters requiring urgent action and accordingly early signature motions will be moved in respect of both of them. A supplementary Order Paper containing the Income Tax (Amendment) Bill and the two early signature motions has been circulated to the House.
