Vol. 116 No. 1

Business of Seanad.

I understand that notices have been received from Senator Robb, Senator Brendan Ryan, Senator David Norris, Senator John Connor and Senator Brian O'Shea. They propose to raise some matters on the Adjournment of the House today. However, even though I did know that I would be appointed Cathaoirleach, I want to take a look at the five and will decide on them by 12.30 p.m. I certainly will allow one tonight or tomorrow or whenever we conclude. I hope the Senators who have put in notices for the Adjournment will accept that at this point. When I go out of the Chair in an hour I will then look at them, come back and decide on taking one.
