Seanad Éireann debate -
Thursday, 12 May 1988

Vol. 119 No. 11

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Gerry Reynolds that, on the Motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The inclusion of County Leitrim as a pilot area for funding through the integrated rural development scheme.

I also received notice from Senator Phil Hogan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Industry and Commerce to recognise the important contribution that Kilkenny Design Workshop has made to industrial and economic development in Ireland and asks the Minister to confirm his support for the continuation of the Kilkenny Design Workshop.

I regard the matters raised by Senators Reynolds and Hogan as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected Senator Reynolds' motion and it will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senator Hogan may give notice for another day of the matter he wishes to raise.
