Vol. 119 No. 13

Order of Business.

Senator Lanigan, please.

It is proposed to take Items Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 4, and that Item No. 4 will be taken from 6.30 to 8 p.m.

On the Order of Business I would like to give notice that I intend to raise the crisis in the rod angling controversy under Standing Order 29 later today.

On the Order of Business, I do not have a problem with what has been outlined by the Leader of the House, but could I avail of the opportunity to extend the congratulations of this House to Séan Kelly on his magnificent victory in the Tour of Spain. Whereas the business of the House precluded me from being with him in his celebrations in Carrick-on-Suir last night, I was rather disappointed that the Taoiseach did not fly out to meet him in Spain. Is it because he was not a Dub?

Order of Business agreed to.
