Vol. 120 No. 11

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Philip Hogan that, on the Motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to intervene immediately to ensure the sanction of national lottery funds to the Graiguenamanagh Elderly Association, County Kilkenny.

I also received notice from Senator Joe O'Toole of the following matter:

The need to establish a pilot scheme for Teilifís na Gaeltachta because £0.5 million has been set aside from the national lottery by the Government since November last for this scheme.

I regard the matters raised by Senators Hogan and O'Toole as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected Senator Hogan's motion and it will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senator O'Toole may give notice another day of the matters he, wishes to raise.
