Vol. 127 No. 6

Business of Seanad.

Let me welcome back the Members of the House for the new year and wish everybody well.

I have notice from Senator Liam Cosgrave that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Tourism and Transport to review the availability of late night public transport, including the operation and availability of taxis together with the bus and DART services.

I also received notice from Senator Dan Neville of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education to ensure that the new primary school approved for Kilcornan, County Limerick, is constructed in 1991.

I also received notice from Senator Shane Ross of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment to outline the criteria used in the distribution of national lottery funds.

I regard the matters raised by Senators Cosgrave, Neville and Ross as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected Senator Cosgrave's matter and it will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senators Neville and Ross may give notice on another day of the matters they wish to raise.
