Seanad Éireann debate -
Thursday, 10 Mar 1994

Vol. 139 No. 13

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Reynolds that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Foreign Affairs to outline the position regarding the reopening of Border crossings between County Leitrim and County Fermanagh.

I have also received notice from Senator Taylor-Quinn of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to intervene in the proposal by the Mid-Western Health Board to relocate district nurses in the west Clare area to health centres outside those from which they currently operate; the upset and distress being caused to patients as a result, the unnecessary frustration and disturbance of the nurses concerned and the danger of strike action.

I regard the matters raised as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
