Seanad Éireann debate -

Vol. 140 No. 3

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Farrelly that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment to clarify the funding being provided for the water supply to Ashbourne, County Meath, as his Department's allocation to Meath County Council of £2.61 million represents 90 per cent of the cost; and if local authorities will have to make up the difference.

I regard the matter raised as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and it will be taken at the conclusion of business.
