Expression of Sympathy.

Before we proceed to the Order of Business, Senators may wish to express their sympathy to Senator Cassidy on the death of his father.

This is another sad occasion and on behalf of the House and the Fianna Fáil Party, I extend our sympathy to our colleague, Senator Cassidy, and his family on the death of his father, Daniel.

On behalf of the Fine Gael group, I would like to express our sympathy to our colleague, Senator Cassidy, on the death of his father.

Those on the Independent benches would like to be associated with the expression of sympathy. We also extend our condolences to the family.

On behalf of the Progressive Democrats, I, too, would like to be associated with the vote of sympathy to Senator Cassidy on the death of his father.

On behalf of the Labour Party, I would like to be associated with the vote of sympathy to Senator Cassidy on the death of his father.

Members rose in their places.
