Vol. 151 No. 2

Business of Seanad.

I have notice from Senator Cotter that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education to confer disadvantaged status on the St. Louis junior school, Clones, County Monaghan.

I have also received notice from Senator Neville of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment to extend the urban renewal scheme to Rathkeale, County Limerick.

I have also received notice from Senator Finneran of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry to address the marketing problems being experienced by farmers who have invested in Christmas tree production.

I regard the matters raised by Senators Cotter and Neville as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. I regret that I have had to rule out of order the matter raised by Senator Finneran as the Minister has no official responsibility in the matter.
