Courts Service (No. 2) Bill, 1997: Order for Second Stage.
Bill entitled an Act to establish a service to manage the courts and provide services to and for the judges, and to provide other services relating to courts administration, to transfer certain property to the service, to make provision for the staffing of the service, and to provide for related matters.
In the interests of showing that Members on this side of the House can be reasonable, we will agree to the arrangements. I understand that the Minister will be here shortly.
I am sure the Minister has been delayed on important business and on behalf of the Independent Senators I agree to the suspension of the sitting.
