Bill reported with amendment and received for final consideration.
Question proposed: "That the Bill do now pass".

I thank the Minister of State for attending this debate, for his co-operation and his willingness at all times to participate in debates here. I also thank Senator O'Dowd for his participation in the debate and his positive approach to the Bill.

This is perhaps the speediest passage of a Bill through the House I can recall for a long time. It reflects the useful contribution by Senators in the excellent and healthy Second Stage debate when matters were teased out and we satisfied ourselves with the content of the Bill. I thank all colleagues in the House for that.

I thank the Minister of State for attending the House to debate this legislation. The Second Stage debate was very useful. It is important the Opposition co-operates with legislation on which there is agreement and which is passed after due and proper consideration and debate. I am happy that this is good and necessary legislation and that it will be implemented properly.

Question put and agreed to.
