Freedom of Information Act Regulations: Motion.

I move:

That Seanad Éireann approves the following Regulations in draft:–

Freedom of Information Act, 1997 (Prescribed Bodies) Regulations, 2000,

copies of which were laid in draft form before Seanad Éireann on 28th January, 2000.

Yes, but I wish to reiterate what Senator O'Toole and I said earlier – these motions need to be debated rather than being dealt with so quickly.

I assure the House it will be debated in the first week of April.
