Seanad Éireann debate -

Vol. 165 No. 12

Business of Seanad.

I have received notice from Senator Caffrey that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Tourism, Sport and Recreation to approve the grant application which is necessary to complete Ballina Sports Complex, County Mayo, which is now boarded up through lack of funding even though the project is 80% completed.

I have also received notice from Senator Costello of the following matter:

The need for the Tánaiste and Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment to outline the restructuring of community employment projects in primary and second level schools and how she proposes to cater for the existing community employment workers and supervisors in the schools.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
