Vol. 168 No. 12

Business of Seanad.

I have received notice from Senator Finneran that, on the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minster for Education and Science to ensure that Newtownforbes secondary school remains open and continues to provide a second level education for the children of Newtownforbes and its environs.

I have also received notice from Senator Henry of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to outline the plans he has for the implementation of the Mental Health Act, 2001.

I have also received notice from Senator Cassidy of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Science to provide additional classrooms at Clonmellon national school, County Westmeath, to cater for an increase in student levels.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
