I have received notice from Senator Kitt that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Transport to ensure the railway line at Athenry, County Galway, will not be dismantled while the mini-CTC is being installed.

I have also received notice from Senator Ulick Burke of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources to outline the reasons he has suspended grant approval for afforestation.

I have also received notice from Senator Morrissey of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Environment and Local Government to provide emergency funding for the dredging of the River Tolka from Clonee to Ringsend.

I have also received notice from Senator Finucane of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to clarify when a radiotherapy service will be provided at Limerick Regional Hospital and if he has received the expert review group report on cancer services.

I have also received notice from Senator Leyden of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to approve the contract submitted in June 2002 for refurbishment of St. Coman's medical ward at Roscommon County Hospital.

I have also received notice from Senator Daly of the following matter:

To need for the Minister for the Environment and Local Government to give details of the programme of activities regarding the development of the river basin management system for the Shannon.

I regard the matters raised by Senators Kitt, Ulick Burke and Morrissey as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senators Finucane, Leyden and Daly may give notice another day of the matters they wish to raise.
