Vol. 172 No. 4

Business of Seanad.

I have received notice from Senator Terry that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to make a statement on the appalling situation in the Eastern Regional Health Authority area where children who may have been sexually assaulted have to wait up to seven months to be seen at the assessment unit at Our Lady's Hospital for Sick Children, Crumlin, Dublin 12.

I regard the matter raised by the Senator as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and it will be taken at the conclusion of business.
