Vol. 174 No. 24

Business of Seanad.

An Leas-Chathaoirleach

I have received notice from Senator Bradford that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Foreign Affairs to intervene with the appropriate authorities concerning the case of Mr. Roger Collins who has spent 25 years on death row in Georgia, United States.

I have also received notice from Senator Henry of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment to ensure that the regulations entitled European Communities (Copyright and Related Rights) Regulations 2003, which she intends to bring forward shortly, are in line with the spirit of EU Directive 2001/29/EC of 22 May 2001 on the harmonisation of certain aspects of copyright and related rights in the information society.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
