I move:
That the proposal that Seanad Éireann approves the draft of the Criminal Justice Act 1984 (Treatment of Persons in Custody in Garda Síochána Stations) (Amendment) Regulations 2006, a copy of which was laid before Seanad Éireann on 1 December 2006, be referred to the Joint Committee on Justice, Equality, Defence and Women's Rights, in accordance with paragraph (1) (Seanad) of the Orders of Reference of that Committee, which, not later than 14 December 2006, shall send a message to the Seanad in the manner prescribed in Standing Order 67, and Standing Order 69(2) shall accordingly apply.
