Vol. 198 No. 9

Business of Seanad.

I have received notice from Senator Cecilia Keaveney that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to ensure the issue of male cancers is highlighted and to outline the efforts being made towards introducing male screening programmes.

I have also received notice from Senator Jerry Buttimer of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Social and Family Affairs to outline the compensation measures available to the residents of Cork city's middle parish and the Mardyke affected by the recent flooding.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
