Vol. 206 No. 9

Credit Institutions (Stabilisation) Bill 2010: Motion for Earlier Signature

On No. 4, I call the Leader to move the motion for earlier signature.

On a point of order, could the Leader tell the House why we have had to face a guillotine again today?

That is not a point of order.

I move:

That, pursuant to subsection 2° of section 2 of Article 25 of the Constitution, Seanad Éireann concurs with the Government in a request to the President to sign the Credit Institutions (Stabilisation) Bill 2010 on a date which is earlier than the fifth day after the date on which the Bill shall have been presented to her.
