Vol. 221 No. 2

Business of Seanad

I have received notice from Senator Denis O’Donovan that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to outline the future of Bandon Community Hospital in Cork; whether it complies with HIQA standards; if there are plans to renovate and extend the hospital in the near future; and whether funding is readily available.

I have also received notice from Senator David Cullinane of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Skills to discuss the cuts to further education in budget 2013; the effect this will have on Waterford College of Further Education and teacher allocation at the college.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
