Vol. 238 No. 14

Business of Seanad

I have received notice from Senator Mark Daly that, on the motion for the Commencement of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Skills to outline why Scoil Naomh Eoin Baiste is losing a teacher and if she will review the decision as this will have a severe impact on the school, especially as it is a Gaeltacht school.

I have also received notice from Senator Marie Moloney of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government to clarify why Irish Water has not forwarded a registration pack to a person in County Kerry (details supplied) despite numerous requests to do so.

I regard the matter raised by Senator Daly as suitable for discussion and it will be taken now. I regret I have had to rule out of order the matter raised by Senator Moloney as the Minister has no official responsibility for this matter.
