I move:
That, notwithstanding anything in the Standing Orders relative to Public Business:
1) the Seanad shall meet at 12.30 p.m. on Monday, 20th July 2015;
2) the Seanad shall meet at 10.30 a.m. on Tuesday, 21st July 2015; and
3) at the sittings of the Seanad on 21st and 22nd July 2015:
(i) Standing Order 29 shall stand suspended; and
(ii) the Order of Business shall be proposed at the commencement of public business.
The motion provides for the House to sit on Monday and Tuesday of next week. We had intended to sit on Wednesday, but with the co-operation of all involved, I hope we can conduct and complete our business on Monday and Tuesday.
